Q: Is Veterans Against Tyranny a political party?
No. We are not political party. We are not affiliated with any political party. Political parties' values change and flip flop sometimes. Our compass is always calibrated to support and defend the constitutional rights of the People. While most of what we post now is very much anti maga and anti GOPedo party, we are not a "democrat" page. We call them out too. Parties overall have usurped the power of the People in government and that is a larger issue we hope to help right in due course. Today most Veteran candidates for office are democrats or independents. It is what it is. We aim to always support and endorse Veterans for office who uphold our philosophies regardless of party.
Q: Is Veterans Against Tyranny a Veteran exclusive organization?
No. We welcome non Veterans to join in our membership constituency! We have membership categories for both U.S. residents and non-U.S. residents who are not U.S. Armed Forces Veterans.
Q: What's the difference in Veteran vs. non Veteran memberships?
All members get access to the same web portal, message boards, events, etc. There's two key differences in membership type. First off, we verify the service of all our Veteran members. We are vigilant against stolen valor in our ranks.
The real big difference comes down to governance, clout, and our commitment to keeping the voice our organization truly Veteran, and authentic. We are a member led organization.
As we grow and better establish our large scale governance our Veteran members will be the folks who lead the direction of the organization.
We are a Veteran led organization united by an ethos that is tied to the oaths our Veteran members took.
We welcome our communities of non-Veterans to join us in membership together and to help us to be the solution - BE THE SOLUTION WITH US - in solidarity, united, against the oppression of the People in America. We welcome everyone who wants to be a part of our movement.
