Our government should be more concerned with getting the 33% of eligible voters who didn't vote last election out to the polls, rather than trying to make it harder to vote. The SAVE Act is total garbage.
FUCK THE SAVE ACT.
The SAVE Act suppresses voters by requiring strict proof of citizenship, which many eligible voters lack. To be clear, too, people provide ID as part of the registering process. There aren't ballots for non identified people at all.
It's asinine to make 330+ millions Americans to have to go through hoops, costs, and spend unnecessary time...
... when it is our RIGHT to vote, not some "privilege" we have to earn, or something. The SAVE Act is anti American. At it's root it strips the right to vote from qualified people at the behest of bureaucratic conditions.
It's exactly the opposite of empowering our rights. It adds obstacles to them.
Down with the GOPedo. Anyone pushing the SAVE Act is pushing to take rights away from Americans. Fuck the SAVE Act. Don't save it.
