Granny Knows, Youngin. Time to Learn, Children

We're in sort of an inflection point in time as nation, folks, in case that wasn't clear. Consider that it's been past 60 years now since the civil rights movement and 50 since the womens rights movement (i.e Roe v. Wade). The young today on some level have been disconnected from the struggle and ignorant of the evils that lurk in that regard to some degree. We've been through 10 years of maga.


In the protests and demonstrations I've been to it's been very noticeable how many folks older than me are taking to the streets. It's good to see more younger folks than me getting out there too.


I think us middle aged folks got complacent along the way while the racists and fascists have been steadily plotting. We got fooled by silicon valley's BS, believing in their stated noble ideals, while all along they're as abusive and money hungry as any slave owner pre civil war, seriously. But with free snacks in the office, of course.


Anyways, if you don't understand how spot on this woman is play it again and take time to understand.


We've got to break the cycle of complacency and the tendency of white people to think racism is accidental or underestimating the bad intentions and existence of racists in our society which are absolutely a force we must relentless fight.
