Stop the Steal from Education

I'm gonna make a huge overgeneralization: rich people don't end up that way by not being greedy. That overgeneralization may not always be true... but the way education is under attack oughta make you think about it. Let me explain. Are you aware of this whole "school vouchers" grift going on?


This woman in the video breaks down what is happening in North Carolina, but it's not just happening there. From what I know, this is a grift being ran in any state that the republicans hold the power to try and make it happen. Texas, in particular, is a state where the vouchers scam has been ongoing for a while. The people there fought it, but the red fascists are doing it anyways.


Here's what it is: the republicans in power in these states push a program that basically allows rich people to take tax money from public education to fund their kids' private education. Educated people are harder to steal from systemically through government, by the way.


So, the GOP politicians in power are scamming the public out of education money by "funneling it" in this way to the "elite class" via "school voucher." Not only does shifting the funds to people who don't actually need it hurt the general public NOW by giving the public less, but it hurts us even more in the long run as the quality of education for the public would continue to erode over time.


Make no mistake, public education is under attack federally by today's criminal regime and it is under attack in any state where the GOPedo party can get traction against it with ploys like this "school voucher" con against public interests.


They don't care about the public; they would prefer to hold us down to retain power rather than earn continuing power by carrying out the public's will.
