The Veterans Against Tyranny Ethos

VETERANS AGAINST TYRANNY

OFFICE OF THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

HEADQUARTERS

PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA 94954

VAT-6

11 November 2025

MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD (MFR)

SUBJECT: The Veterans Against Tyranny Ethos

1.REFERENCES:

a. Declaration of Independence, (US) 1776

b. The Constitution of the United States of America, As Amended, 5 May 1992

c. Oath of Enlistment, 10 U.S.C. § 502, As Amended, 5 October 1962

d. Oath of Office, 5 U.S.C. § 3331, 1 August 1959

2.Scope: This MFR hereby codifies the establishment, mission, purpose and intent, vision, and enduring ethos of Veterans Against Tyranny.

3.Establishment: Veterans Against Tyranny (VAT) is hereby established as a California501(c)(4) Unincorporated Non-Profit Association. At the time of its founding, VAT qualifies for distinction as a “Veteran-owned” organization.

4.Mission: To continue to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic, as U.S. Military Veterans, and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same.

5.Purpose and Intent: Veterans Against Tyranny as an organization exists to unite U.S. Veterans and the public at large in solving our nation’s toughest systemic problems. We are an advocacy group ever endeavoring to serve the constitutional rights and interests of The People above all else. Although VAT may provide some perks and benefits to the Veteran community in the due course of its operations, the organization does not exist primarily to “serve” Veterans at all. Very much the opposite. The organization serves as an agency to unify the voices and voting power of the 16+ million Veterans in America today. We, Veterans, are a fragmented herd of cats worth 7% of the popular vote. We, VAT, are a “union” for Veterans, of sorts, working for The People to safeguard the rights of all Americans in whatever ways we can, with honor.

6.Vision: Veterans Against Tyranny is a cover providing rally point for the vast majority of like-minded Veterans in America who would be well served – and can continue to serve the public at large – by wielding a unified voice that helps to steer the moral compass of our nation, and as a source of political influence for what is right. Our nation has been led far, far astray from our founders’ vision, and >95% of Americans today are unconstitutionally dominated or oppressed by society. We, Veterans, united by common ideals, can help. Our nation NEEDS us.

AS A FORCE OF 16 MILLION VETERANS NATIONWIDE, UNITED, WE ARE STRONG.

WE CAN WIELD BIG WASTA BEYOND OUR INDIVIDUAL VOTES. WE ARE THE 7%.

Veterans Against Tyranny will serve the American public through our headquarters company,

membership, and constituency, along (4) primary Lines of Effort in the operating environment:

a. Mustering the Boots: Building community and fostering shared understanding in America

through information sharing, thought leadership, and public dialogue.

b. Organized Activism: Conducting and participating in coordinated efforts including but not

limited to “feet in the street” protests, demonstrations, boycotts, ceremonies, and other public events at large scale – national and beyond - as much as we can manage to affect.

c. Righteous Legal “Combat”: Participate with and influence American legislation and

governance by engaging (and challenging) the courts and our elected representatives on

behalf of The People as a stewards of the Constitution.

d. Picking Up Our Battle Buddies: Doing stuff to support Veterans, the underserved, the

vulnerable, and any mistreated peoples in America that we can help somehow in the course

of our existence.

7. Veterans Against Tyranny enduring ethos: Our shared understandings, values, and

acknowledgements of fundamental truths and rights (which we all hold to be self-evident and guaranteed by our Constitution), alongside our willingness to take an oath to serve the nation at some point in our lives, are the bonds that unite us as Veterans Against Tyranny.

It doesn’t matter what your rank was, it doesn’t matter how long you served, and we don’t judge the nature of your discharge. If you have raised your hand, taken the oath, and were a United States Service Member in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, and/or Space Force in your life at any time, you are qualified for lifetime membership with VAT, free of charge.

However, if you personally don’t share our beliefs nor expect the federal, state, and local

governments to uphold the same high standards for The People of America as we do,

unfortunately, we are not the organization for you.

Issues of the day may change, but our ideals do not, and these ideals – which are the true

American spirit – will ever guide our issue positions. Most basically, our ethos upholds:

a. Equality: All people are entitled to equal rights, due process, and protections of law in

America regardless of their citizenship, gender and/or gender identity, sexuality, race,

religion, age, ethnicity, creed, disability, or any other immutable human characteristic.

b. Freedom: Laws should only restrict individuals in any fashion to the extent they are

necessary to prevent infringements on the rights of or harms to others.

c. A Nation for The People by The People: Our federal, state, and local governments only

exist to carry out the will of The People they represent, according to majority and morals.

Fundamentally, the government is not The People’s boss, it is The People’s butler.

d. Restorative Justice: As a nation we should seek to make right on the injustices of our past – for example the genocide of Native Americans, slavery of Black Americans, and oppressions of all types of Peoples throughout our nation’s history. We support equity programs to foster diverse and inclusive access to opportunity, participation, and positions of authority for everyone throughout our country.

e. Right to Choose Life or Death: The spirit of the constitution should protect the “right to choose” for all people in America who could become pregnant. Furthermore, it should protect the right to assisted suicide too.

f. Honorable Governance: Our elected representatives have a duty to carry out the will of their constituencies regardless of their party. All government officials, in every branch, are prohibited from using their “grade or position for pleasure, profit, or personal safety” and are expected to uphold the highest standards of honor, integrity, ethics, and service.

g. The People First: Taxes are meant to “provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States.” The government has a duty to put the general welfare needs of The People ahead of private industry interests. In America, health care for example, should be a right, not a privilege.

h. A Nation of Immigrants: We are a melting pot by design. We are a country founded by immigrants and built on the backs of immigrants. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free." The American Dream is everyone’s dream.

i. The People have a Right to the Separation of Church and State.

j. The People have a Right to “sin” consensually. The government shouldn’t restrict consenting adults’ right to do drugs or sell sex so long as they are not harming others.

k. The value of workers’, consumers’, and individuals’ (The People’s) rights and interests supersede those of corporations and capitalist enterprises. The People’s interests must always come first in policy and governance, and we must steward the natural world for The People’s sustainability rather than pillage it to serve the needs of greed.

We are a living organization, and our ethos will evolve over time. Whereas we once all served the global defense of our nation, we now carry the torch for civic harmony and quality of life for American People here at home. We are fundamentally aligned by Constitutional ideals and the American spirit as Veterans Against Tyranny. We stand united in the face of the sociopolitical challenges to defend the rights of The People of our country.

8. So shall it be done. Godspeed. No slack! Get some.
