Voter Identity Verification is Already in Place

North Dakota Secretary of State Michael Howe says voters already have to prove citizenship to cast ballots in North Dakota. At the federal level, the felon and the GOPedo are pushing the SAVE Act to emplace unnecessary hurdles for voters, including a requirement to prove citizenship.
But the need for folks to prove their identity is a fake problem. Everyone knows in order to get a ballot you have to register which requires ID in the first place.
We don't have a problem in America with non citizens casting erroneous ballots. It's not a problem AT ALL.
The problem in America that we have is not enough eligible voters voting. In the last presidential election more than one third of eligible voters didn't vote.
The >33% disenfranchisement is the problem we should focus on fixing, not any of the GOPedo BS reasons to try and make voting harder for eligible folks.
