Joshua Doss is so good! If you're not aware of the context of this clip, it's related to Nick Cannon recently declaring himself align with the GOPedo Party because of his understanding that "Democrats are the KKK Party". Now, of course, he's caught all kinds of shade and backlash from that statement - which, he should; however, Doss's response really is the BEST:
Keep learning! Keep peeling the onion back, don't stop there.
I also really love the analogy that the parties are just houses, what changes are the people in it. I used a similar maxim before (on our FAQ page) that "parties' values change" (ours don't!) but that "house" metaphor really describes the dynamic and the "why" so much better.
I'll be using the houses comparison moving forward because the "democrats = kkk" is something I hear a lot from trolls and magats too. Nick Cannon ain't prolific with this epiphany lol. It's recycled BS.
That same analogy (the houses), by the way, aptly describes how the republicans' became maga and no whatever the fuck they are today... because what they are today in practice isn't what the republicans have supposedly been about for all these years... but, here we are.
Let's all keep learning folks, and let's make sure our houses are in order. No slack.
